The first photo in Germany was created in Munich. Scientists Karl August von Steingel and Franz Ritter von Kobell took a photo of the Frauenkirche a few months before the daguerreotype photographic process was presented in France in 1939.

The most original urban location is the Eisbachwelle bridge, where surfers hang out at any time of the year. They jump off the bridge into the rushing water and deftly maneuver between the stone banks.
