Excursions in Budapest

The Hungarian capital has a special charm. The full-flowing Danube divides Budapest into two parts. The Buda district is always full of tourists and guides, because it has a huge number of attractions, each of which deserves a separate tour (English tours are also available). The most important monuments of Buda are:

1. Buda Castle, aka the residence of the Hungarian kings, which became a museum. Your guide will tell you about the numerous battles that turned it into ruins several times, and about interesting events related to it.

5. The Holy Trinity Square. Usually, it is the first place, from which guides start their tours around the city.
6. Margate. This island located between Buda and Pest is a huge park with beautiful flower beds and numerous cafes.

After exploring Buda, you should book a tour of Pest. Walk along the embankment, admire the bridges and the Parliament building, then walk along the lively Andrassy Avenue to the spacious Heroes' Square, which is decorated with majestic monuments: the Millennium Monument column, two colonnades, statues of Hungarian kings and statesmen. If you want to relax from the city noise and see the thermal pools, visit the Varosliget Park. Or you can go shopping on Vaci street, where the best boutiques are located.
