Holidays on Lake Heviz, Hungary
Many people go to Lake Heviz, in Hungary, not only to heal, but also to have a good rest. The lake covers an area of 4.7 hectares, the source that feeds the lake is located in a sub-lake cave and its diameter is 18 meters. There are two springs with thermal water, one with a temperature of +38 to +45 degrees Celsius, and the second mineral with a temperature of +17 degrees Celsius, and they mix in the same cave.
The lake itself is a geological rarity, since many warm-water lakes stand on soils of volcanic origin, but only Heviz Lake is considered to have emerged from a peat bed. The water is medicinal and contains a lot of magnesium and calcium. In the lobby there is a free source of hydrogen sulfide water, which is recommended for those people who have certain digestive problems. The most popular and demanded procedures are underwater vertical extraction and mud wraps. The bowl of the lake is surrounded on all sides by oaks, pines and firs, and along the shore there are completely open baths.

The locker rooms of the hospital are clean, there is a toilet, a shower, a hairdryer and everything you need. The indoor bath consists of four baths, everyone chooses what they like. It is not necessary to swim in the lake, you can just lie on the circle, which is easy to buy on the way to the lake or rent it there. The covered baths are interconnected by tunnels, through which you can swim out into the open lake or go down the stairs into the water to the street.
