Sights of Croatia

Such a wonderful country as Croatia is known not only for its wonderful beaches, but also for the sights of different historical times, as well as for its picturesque nature.

Pula Amphitheater

The building is one of the largest amphitheatres. Previously, about 25 thousand people were accommodated here, but at the present time only 8 thousand. Interestingly, until the 4th century, battles were fought in this building. But soon, instead of fighting, fairs and other events began to be held. In one of the halls of the building there is a museum, which contains archaeological finds related to history.

Fortress Lovrijenac

Such a structure was built near Dubrovnik and was intended for defense. The task of the cannons, which were installed on the walls of the fortress, was to control the approaches to the city from the sea and land. In addition, the structure was so high that it offered a good view for the guards.

Ban Jelacic Square

This place is the center of the capital. The name is inherent in one commander from Austria, who was of Croatian origin. He had the title of ruler of the country for all 11 years. But soon the square was broken up, and now it was called Kharmitsey. You can't drive here by car. Nearby are famous sights such as: the largest bank in the country, the Mandushevac fountain and 1 high-rise building.

Blue Grotto

The peculiarity of this place is its unusual nature. When the weather is clear and sunny, a blue light can be observed about 1 time per day.

Surprisingly, not all boats can be here. They must be of a certain size. Not far away you can also observe another grotto, no less interesting than this one.

Krka National Park

This park is one of the most important objects of tourist infrastructure. There are suspension bridges where you can look at the beautiful views, and you can also learn about how this place was created.

In addition, there are about 2100 species of various birds. But the main feature is the golden eagles.

Golden Horn beach

This place is the most beautiful of all beaches. A feature is its outline, which changes all the time. This phenomenon depends on the direction of the wind.

Depending on which direction the wind sets, this will be the shape. This place is also famous for the fact that those who like scuba diving gather here. But of course the main entertainment is swimming in the sea and sunbathing.

Having considered the above, we can conclude that Croatia is the very place where you should definitely visit at least once.
