Thailand. Visit to Klong Pla Kang waterfall

The waterfall is located in Khao Chamao National Park, in Rayong province. Many do not know about him, so there are almost no people there, except for the rangers who guard this park.

It is better to visit the waterfall during the rainy season (May-October), as there will be a lot of water in those places, and you will not find a small stream flowing down from the stones in a small trickle.

If you go to the waterfall from the city of Pattaya, then you will have to drive about 150 km.

Upon arrival, you must pay for a ticket (cost 200 baht), you can also buy refreshments there. Opening and closing times 8: 00-16: 30.

After the preparation is completed, you can hit the road. It takes 20-30 minutes to get to the waterfall, along the trails that go through the dense jungle. At first, the road will be good, even in some places you will go along a concrete path, but after that be prepared for ups and downs along land paths.

Entering the jungle, you are left alone with nature. You will not hear any sounds of technology, except for the singing of birds and the murmuring water sliding over large boulders. The sky is almost invisible because of the tall tops of trees and lianas hanging from them, so a slight twilight reigns in the jungle.
Along the way, there will almost always be a stream of water next to the trail, so at any time you can go and cool off by swimming there.

In places where it is difficult to pass, the ropes are stretched to hold on to them while passing the difficult section. For the entire journey, there will be several such sections.

As soon as you start approaching the long-awaited goal, the sound of the water will increase, the stones on the way will become larger and the trail will go downhill.

Having reached the long-awaited goal, at the bottom of the waterfall there will be several large flat stones on which you can settle. There are many places for swimming. Depth 3-5 meters during the rainy season.

There is entertainment for the daredevils too. You can climb to the top and jump down. This must be done carefully, since the edges are not as deep as in the middle.

When swimming at the base of the waterfall, there are a lot of large fish that will bite your skin. Therefore, do not be afraid, it only brings benefits. Fish, so cleanse your skin.
There is no swimming place at the top of the waterfall and there are a lot of large spiders that have coiled large cobwebs and are used to the fact that no one goes there.

The way back can be walked faster by making the way not along the trail, but along the stones that lead down from the waterfall, saving 10 minutes of the way.
